MABIF CBBO - 25 FPOs
MABIF recognized as a CBBO (Cluster Based Business Organisation by NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development). This recognition is a significant milestone in MABIF’s mission to support and empower the Farming sector.
As a CBBO, MABIF is entrusted with the responsibility of fostering entrepreneurship, providing technical assistance, and facilitating business opportunities for farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs. Under this recognition, MABIF is now overseeing and collaborating with a network of 25 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) around 11 districts of Tamil Nadu under the Central Sector Scheme for the formation and promotion of 10 K FPOs.
These FPOs play a crucial role in promoting collective farming, increasing the income of small and marginalized farmers, and ensuring food security in the region. With MABIF’s guidance and support, these FPOs will receive the necessary training, knowledge, and resources to enhance their operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
