Dr. R. Selvarajan, Director, ICAR-National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB) along with Dr. Pramod Shelake, Scientist, ICAR-National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB) and Dr. K. Suresh, Associate Professor (Entomology), AC&RI-Madurai visited the NABARD MABIF on 20th November 2024.
During the visit, NABARD MABIF explained the incubation Services that are being provided to Startups/FPOs/Farmers/Students and visited the Food Processing Centre which has Milk Processing Unit, Retort Processing Unit, Chikki Processing Unit, Animal Feed Production Unit and Food Testing Laboratory, etc.,
Excitingly, Dr. R. Selvarajan, Director, ICAR-National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB), expressed interest in a potential collaboration with NABARD MABIF. This collaboration may bring a wealth of insights and opportunities for advancing the Agri and Food startup ecosystem. By leveraging the expertise of NRCB in banana cultivation and post-harvest technologies alongside MABIF’s strong network of startups, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and entrepreneurs, the partnership aims to drive innovation, foster knowledge exchange and enhance market linkages within the agriculture sector.
