NABARD’s Exhibition-cum-Sale of Handloom Products celebrating National Handloom Day 2024

MABIF had a fantastic experience at NABARD’s Exhibition-cum-Sale of Handloom Products celebrating National Handloom Day 2024, held from 7th to 11th August 2024 at Mother Teresa Women’s Complex, Chennai. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chairman, Shri Shaji K.V., NABARD, on 7th August 2024. This event aimed to showcase the rich and diverse handloom heritage of South India and provide a platform for artisans and weavers to display their craftsmanship.

Hon’ble Chairman, Shri Shaji K.V., NABARD, launched the following products and activities of Madurai Agribusiness Incubation Forum (MABIF) in the presence of Shri R. Anand, CGM, NABARD RO and Smt. Jothi Srinivas, General Manager, NABARD RO.

– MABIF Mart is live now: An exclusive e-commerce platform for startups and FPOs to sale their products, reach a wider audience and establish meaningful connections with customers.
– Shop GI is live now: An exclusive e-commerce platform for GI products’ sale across Pan India.
– Healthy & Happy Box by M2N Mart, it is a MABIF Initiated business model to bridge the gap by offering a comprehensive selection of traditional, healthy products under one roof.
– Gho Paints: A pioneering startup that harnesses the natural antimicrobial properties of cow dung to create eco-friendly, antibacterial and antifungal paints.
– Beeda Paan and Betal Drops (both GI-tagged Value-added products) by Durmeric Naturaceuticals Pvt Ltd.
– Pumpkin Brown Cake by Makilam FPCL.
– Potato, Tapioca and Banana Chips by Avinashiappar FPCL.
– MoU was exchanged between Sangai Gomathi FPCL and Vaayuratha Pvt Ltd to avail drone services for agricultural applications.
– Cheque for Rs. 6.63 lakh was handed over to Avinashi FPCL, promoted by MABIF, for developing an FPO Mobile App for business services.
