NABARD MABIF had the privilege of participating in the “National Conference on Building Sustainable Agricultural Start-ups in India”, organized by a-IDEA, NAARM-TBI, Hyderabad. The conference took place from 12th & 13th November 2024 at the M.S. Swaminathan Auditorium, a-IDEA, NAARM-TBI.
During this event, Er. Ganesh Moorthy K, CEO, NABARD MABIF, acted as an Eminent Expert in a panel discussion on “Leveraging Incubators for Startup Excellence”. He emphasized the crucial role of incubators in driving agricultural innovation through mentorship, market linkages and funding support. His insights highlighted how incubators can foster sustainable growth for agri-startups tackling sector-specific challenges.
Additionally, NABARD MABIF is actively exploring potential collaborations with key partners such as T-Hub at Telangana, MANAGE-CIA and a-IDEA, NAARM-TBI, with plans to establish co-incubation opportunities.
MABIF also visited the NABARD MABIF’s CCF 1.0 funded Startup M/s. Minkan Agro Industries Pvt Ltd (Milletbank) to assess the fund utilization and review Startup operations. This progressive startup is impressive in its approach to sustainable agricultural practices, innovative product development and its commitment to expanding market reach. Additionally, another MABIF incubatee, M/s. Carbonmint India Pvt Ltd, engaged in discussions with CEO, MABIF, regarding mentorship service for their business growth in terms of market linkage, value-added products and Export opportunities.
